Three CEEQUAL Awards
presented at CIVILS 2009 ‘Civilisation Congress’
(9 Dec 2009) Three civil engineering
projects, the Eaves Green Link Road, Sandy Lane Relief
Road and the London Kings Cross Redevelopment (Package
4) project, were presented with CEEQUAL Awards at CIVILS
2009, Earl’s Court 2, in recognition of their
commitment to environmental quality and sustainability
in specification, design and construction.

New rules on using
older versions of the CEEQUAL Manual
(26 Oct 2009) At the CEEQUAL Technical
Advisory Group (TAG) meeting in September, the decision
was made to change the rules governing the period during
which projects can still be verified to an older version
of the CEEQUAL Manual, once a new version has been released.

Crossrail to be
assessed under CEEQUAL
(17 Oct 2009) The UK’s largest
and most prominent civil engineering project has signed
up to carry out a series of CEEQUAL assessments. The
£15.9 billion Crossrail project is scheduled to
take eight years to complete and required its own Act
of Parliament, which was passed in July 2008, to go
ahead.

place on 25 & 26 November at Earls Court 2 in London.
CEEQUAL will be at stand E52, right next to the “Civilisation
